Policies & Conditions
1. Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 PM. Guests may arrive from 8:00 AM and enjoy the common areas according to their reservation conditions. Early room access and late check-out are subject to availability.
2. Reservations and payments
Reservations are made through our official channels and the Little Hotelier booking engine. Payment and advance-payment conditions depend on the selected rate. Special offers may have their own conditions. A key deposit of MXN 100 is collected at check-in and refunded in full when the key is returned at the end of the stay.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Standard rate: cancellation 7 days or more before arrival entitles guests to a 100% refund. Cancellation less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before arrival entitles guests to a 50% refund. Cancellation 48 hours or less before arrival, or a no-show, incurs a charge of 100% of the reservation amount, with no refund. Non-refundable rate: free cancellation is not available; cancellation or a no-show incurs a charge of 100% of the reservation amount. Special offers may have different cancellation and refund conditions, as displayed during booking.
4. Pets
We are pet-friendly. Pets must remain supervised, and their owners must collect their waste and prevent disturbance to other guests. Owners are responsible for damage caused by their pets. Admission is subject to the conditions of the accommodation booked.
5. Children and families
Children are welcome. Minors must remain supervised by a responsible adult. Particular care is required near the lagoon, dock and water activities. Responsible adults must follow the safety rules.
6. Rest and consideration for others
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Parties and activities that disturb other guests are not permitted. Smoking is prohibited in rooms and roofed areas. Please respect the local plants, wildlife and natural surroundings.
7. Kayaks and bicycles
Kayaks are available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory. Paddling at night, during electrical storms or in dangerous weather is prohibited. Staff safety instructions must be followed. Bicycles must be used responsibly and returned in good condition.
8. Shared kitchen
The kitchen is available to guests. Utensils and surfaces must be cleaned after use, and stored food must be labelled. Kitchen equipment must not be removed without permission.
9. Rooms and facilities
Please look after the furniture and facilities. Smoking inside rooms is prohibited. Do not put toilet paper or other waste in the toilet because of the wastewater treatment system. Shared-dorm guests must use the lockers with their own padlock and return bed linen at the end of their stay as instructed by reception.
10. Safety
Security cameras operate in common areas. Entrances must be kept closed as instructed by staff. Guests must look after their belongings and report any incident to reception. Everyone must follow the safety rules. These provisions do not exclude any legal responsibilities of the establishment.
11. Restaurant and services
The restaurant is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Continental breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is included according to the booked rate. Yoga, temazcal and other experiences depend on the schedule and availability. Boat and sailing tours are booked separately unless expressly included in an offer.
12. Service changes
Activity schedules and the availability of additional services may vary due to weather, maintenance or safety reasons. If an expressly contracted service cannot be provided, reception will explain the available alternatives or appropriate solutions.
13. Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice of Glamping Asana Bacalar and applicable Mexican legislation.
